Universal Homes Melling Street

Case Study: Melling Street

CONTRACT DESIGN & BUILD CASE STUDY

Melling Street Terraces – a boutique development of 12, architecturally designed terraced homes, conveniently located a short stroll from central Glen Innes shops and railway station, and just a five-minute drive from the beaches and café lifestyles of St Heliers, Kohimarama and Mission Bay.

Comprising a mix of two, three and four-bedroom townhouses, each on a freehold title, every Melling Street Terrace home was carefully considered by Construkt Architects and expertly built by the team at Universal Homes for local developer Creating Communities.

Each home is spread out over three generous floors, comprising internal-entry garaging and laundry space in the basement (single for 2 bed, double for 3-4 bed), an open-plan living, dining, kitchen area with 2.7-metre studs and direct access to the garden on the ground floor, and double bedrooms and family bathroom on the top floor. The three and four-bedroom homes also come with a generous master ensuite.

These beautiful homes have been built and finished using the highest quality products and materials, including brick and weatherboard exteriors, with contemporary steel detailing. Inside, living area, stairs and bedrooms are carpeted, with the kitchen and bathrooms fully tiled.

One of the real bonuses of these homes is that each has a large, fully fenced garden, designed and landscaped by the award-winning team at Natural Habitats. From the upper floors, every home enjoys an uninterrupted leafy outlook over St Pius X school fields and out to Mt Wellington.
